The climate is moist and humid but the air is invigorating and free of pollution. Winter season here is perhaps the most pleasant and very less humidity with temperatures dropping at nights. Monsoon lasts from June to September. Rains here are usually plentiful and regular. From march, the temperature starts rising but rarely crosses 35°c. May is the hottest month. Light and breezy cottons at summers and light woollens during winter nights are recommended.
You can put your feet in the soft sand of kihim beach and enjoy fresh coconut water (locally called as shahale). Also, ice apple (locally called as Tadgola) is a must try once you are in kihim.
